Clear & Tinted Float Glass

Picture
Clear and tinted float glass are the simplest form of glass. They can be tempered, laminated, bent, machined and decorated.

Picture
The colors of tinted flat glass include F green, Europe grey, and blue star gray.

Tempered Glass

Picture
Tempered glass is one of two kinds of safety glass regularly used in applications in which standard glass could pose a potential danger. Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails.

The brittle nature of tempered glass causes it to shatter into small oval-shaped pebbles when broken. This eliminates the danger of sharp edges. Due to this property, along with its strength, tempered glass is often referred to as safety glass.

Heat Strengthened Glass

Picture
The production of heat strengthened glass is similar to that of tempered glass. Its strength is lower than tempered glass but is about twice that of annealed glass. When broken, it will break into bigger pieces like annealed glass and it is not regarded as safety glass. The flexural strength of heat strengthened glass is smaller than tempered glass. But heat strengthened glass is more heat resistant than annealed glass.

Laminated Glass

Picture
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. It is normally used when there is a possibility of human impact or where the glass could fall if shattered. Skylight glazing and automobile windshields typically use laminated glass. In geographical areas requiring hurricane-resistant construction, laminated glass is often used in exterior storefronts, curtain walls and windows. It also blocks 99% of incoming UV radiation.

Low-e Glass

Picture
Low-e glass or low-emissivity glass is an insulating glass, recognized as an energy saving building material. It can meet or even out -perform the requirements stated in the national standards for energy conservation of materials used in public buildings and residential buildings.

Low-E insulating glass silver layer has high reflection to solar heat. This keeps away solar heat from outdoors while allows good natural lighting indoors in summer.

Solar-e Laminated Glass

Picture
Solar-e laminated glass is the third generation of low-e glass. It refers to an energy-saving laminated glass. It has more varieties in types, colors, performance, and wider applications.

Heat Reflective Coated Glass

Picture
Heat reflective coated glass can control visible light transmission and block solar radiation from entering the interior so as to reduce energy consumption of air-conditioning.  For areas which are exposed to strong sunlight in summer, the thermal insulation of heat reflective glass is remarkable. When there is no sunlight such as at night time or on rainy days, its thermal insulation performance is more or less like normal clear glass.

Insulated Glass

Picture
Insulated Glass consists of two or more glass panes separated by aluminum spacer filled with desiccant. The hollow space is filled with dry air. This provides good thermal and sound insulation, and reduces the weight of buildings.  It produces a comfortable indoor environments at stable temperature and humidity.

Clear or Ripple Wired Glass

Picture
Wired glass is a flat translucent polished clear or figured clear incorporating a metal lattice with 12.5mm square highly suitable for preventing theft. It is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of AS2208 for Grade B Safety Glazing Materials and is certified by the Standards Association as Marked Accordingly. It absorbs solar radiation and may be subject to thermal stress. If installed correctly in appropriate system, wired Glass can provide fire resistance.

Bulletproof Glass

Picture
Bulletproof glass is a type of strong but optically transparent material that is particularly resistant to being penetrated when struck by bullets, but like all other known materials, is not completely impenetrable. It is usually made from a combination of two or more types of glass, one hard and one soft. The softer layer makes the glass more elastic, so it can flex instead of shatter. The index of refraction for both of the glasses used in the bulletproof layers must be almost the same to keep the glass transparent and allow a clear, non-distorted view through the glass.

Acid Etched Glass

Picture
Etched glass is a perfect choice for partitioning to display privacy and subtle lighting . It's smooth and matte surface makes it resistant to fingerprints. These may also be decorated with patterns to add as a nice art pieces.
